Direction: Read the poem about the A Plant with Title “Save Me and I Will Save Your Life” and
the answer the guide questions that follow.

Activity

Analysis 1. What type of natural resources is a plant? ( renewable or non-renewable)


Plants are a renewable resource. Plants can be used repeatedly and easily, and naturally, replaced.
2. Which part of the plant helps to prevent soil erosion?
The roots, which help stabilize the soil and hold the layers together. Their branches also help catch
heavy rain, which could damage low-lying plants and loose soil.
3. What are the most essential to people’s live?
Oxygen, food and air
4. Why are plants considered natural air filter?
Plants are called as natures air purifiers because they perform photosynthesis in which they take in
carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and give out oxygen.
5. Why the author of the poem wants to save the plant?
It gives us oxygen to breathe, serves as the habitat and beautifies the environment.

The teacher will discuss about the Earth’s natural resources, the difference between renewable and
