Remind teachers to bring
Speaker
their assigned materials to be
brought as instructed from
the last LAC Session
conducted. Ask teachers to
prepare and share orally their
experiences and bring pupils
learning materials developed
in the past month.
Four steps in conducting LAC
Session:

I. SHARING SESSIONS
Teachers share in pairs, have
them share their experiences
and reflections pertaining to
the new materials, new
activity, new approach that
they have tried (which were
taken up during the previous
LAC) Efforts are congratulated
/celebrated and participants
are encouraged to share newly
developed learning aids.

II. DISCUSSION
Introduction of new topic and
discussion. Teachers can view
video capsules or discuss
directly the steps. Guide
questions should be prepared
by the Facilitator to stimulate
discussion.

III. ACTIVITY
Professional activity – making
material/preparing for
lessons. Each teacher selects
lessons and/or activities
where he/she will try/apply
what has been introduced and
discussed in this month’s LAC
meeting. This work is
sometimes done in pairs, in
small groups or individually.

IV. PLAN
Sharing session. Each teacher
shares what he/she is
planning to do, they discuss
and help identify what they
will collect in terms of
evidence on the outcome. For
the following session (in a
month’s time), they will share
their experiences, collected
data/evidence and reflections
on what they have come up
and its positive outcome.

After the Meeting:

The LAC facilitator and the
participants affirm the date
for next LAC meeting.
Moreover, the School Head
discussed and agreed the
dates for classroom
observations.
