Rationale:
The study aims to conduct a sport
event at Brgy. Bilucao Sampaloc,
Quezon.
In particular, it aims to provide
answers to the following
questions:
1. What is the importance of the
Inter-Barangay League for
Basketball and Volleyball?
2. What benefits will the players
gain from this event?
Since the beginning of time, there has been sport. It has boosted morale and
strengthened communities while also keeping societies active and healthy. Participation in
sports allows kids to make lasting friendships, develop communication skills, feel a sense of
community and learn to respect their teammates and coaches . Sports do not only improve our
body, but they also benefit our mental health by reducing depression and boosting self-esteem
and body image. People who participate in sports can benefit socially, form connections with
teammates, and feel a sense of belonging.
As a result of these factors, the proponent desires to hold an inter-purok basketball
league event. The players may benefit from this program by having their immune systems
strengthened and by staying physically active and healthy. The proposed event also intends to
foster relationships and ties among participants as well as among the citizen of Barangay San
Antonio.

Objective:
1. Build sportsmanship and leadership.
2. Produce a healthy body and mind and asses discipline and personality.
3. Empowering citizens to offer chances to take part in a variety of programs and events.
4. Bring out the potential of each player.
Source of Fund:
In order to achieve the objectives of the project, the proponents will seek help from
the leaders of the barangay and LGU of the municipality for the approval of the event and to
provide financial assistance.
