Vocal Warmups

VOCAL WARM UPS:


Going ga ga:
Ga.. Ga.. ga ga ga gaaa
(First two on pitch then decending)

Lip Buzz:
(Blowing air through your lips to make a vibrating noise, helps tremendously with
breath support.)

Siren:
(Starting at the lowest note in your range, and going to the highest note.)

Humm:
(Nnng, Oooo, or Aaah ascending and decsending scales.)

Do, re, mi's:


(Starting with Doh re mi fa sol then back down to Do, (1-5-1) Nice, light tone. Good for
clear diction.)

Ascending scales:
("Ung Ah! ung ah! ung ah!")

Descending scales:
("Whey, oh, whey oh, whey oh, whey")
