I.TRAINING TITLE:
TWO – DAY SCHOOL BASEDTRAINING ON SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH TO
ALL PERSONNEL OF NEW VISAYAS NHS AND A WORKSHOP ON SIP CRAFTING.

II.BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE:

The Department of Education continuously improves itself to better serves its


stakeholders. As per Dep.ed order No. 8, s. 2015 the core values of the Filipino child be reflected
in the report card and have been translated into a behavioral statement.

Thus, this activity provides the teachers with overarching and organizing framework and
principles in the delivery of services in the Department of Education. It should enable the
teachers to align their efforts to realize the Dep.ed mandate.

Through this teacher will inculcate the young minds the values and develop the necessary
competencies to ensure a lifelong learning and continue contribute meaningfully to building the
nation. To attain the possible educational outcome teachers must engage oneself in worthwhile
spiritual activities.

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 entitled DepEd Child Protection Policy which
stipulates the Policy and Guidelines on Protecting Children in School from Abuse, Violence,
Exploitation, Discrimination, Bullying and Other Forms of Abuse.

As mandated by the Department of Education that all public and private elementary and
secondary schools shall build the capacities of school personnel, pupils, students, and parents to
understand and deal with child abuse, exploitation, violence and discrimination cases, bullying
and peer violence during the conduct of National Training of Trainers as stipulated in Deped
Memorandum No. 153 s. 2013 thus this training was planned.

III.DESCRIPTION OF THE TRAINING:

This is a two-day school training workshop for New Visayas National HS Teaching and
Non-teaching personnel including the school’s stakeholders.

IV.GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

This training –workshop aims to:

a. Develop the participants’ relationship and enhance their physical, spiritual, social
and emotional competencies;
b. Help participants’ Emphasize one of the CORE VALUES of the School which is
MAKA – DIOS and MAKATAO;
c. To enlighten the participants to become more Tender, more Caring, more Loving in
handling the Students and
d. Craft the 2020 SIP of New Visayas National High School.

VIII. IMPLEMENTATION MECHANICS:

This training-workshop was conducted by the School Training Team and managed by
the School Head.

b. Speaker Honorarium (4 Pax x 500.00) = 2,000.00

XI. Monitoring and Evaluation Scheme:

Monitoring of this orientation will be done by the SchoolHead and the School INSET
Coordinator and Child Protection Coordinator. There will be training evaluation sheet to be
filled up by the participants to determine the effectiveness of the training.
