    Green Electricity from Waste Heat

    Since 2001 Tri-O-Gen develops and produces Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) energy converters. ORC is similar to a steam cycle but uses an organic fluid instead of water. In respect to steam it allows for better performance and efficiencies at low temperature heat sources. The Tri-O-Gen ORC system is suitable to convert heat from:

    In case the available heat is more than needed it is possible to use multiple ORCs. Due to a limited amount of moving parts and a easily exchangeable components high availability and low maintenance requirements are guaranteed. In the Tri-O-Gen ORC the working fluid is directly heated by the heat source, therefore an intermediate loop is not required. This decrease the footprint, installation costs and operational costs. Furthermore the total system is more efficient.
