Oil Spill Cleanup and Response

The Oil-Spill-Cleanup-and-Response (OSCAR)
sensor system is an unmanned aircraftpayload
that addresses three things.
•Where is the oil?
•How extensive is it? FEATURES
•How do I disseminatedata to my
team about this spillevent? Fully-integrated processing unit
(aircraft independent)
Fully integrated into a stabilized housing, the
OSCAR payload utilizes polarized LWIR Pyxis® Polarized LWIR InfraredSensor
with optical zoom capability
technology to detect liquid petrochemicals.
When a spill is detected, reports are generated Fully integrated 3D sensor ball ona
developed gimbal
with a single button push. Upon landing, reports
are ready to be sent to the Command Center for Interoperability across multiple aircraft
types
immediate delegation of response.
