Learners Will Observe The Well-Being of Their Own Classmates

The Preventive Alert System in Schools (PASS) is a systematic process to relay health information about students or teachers. It involves students monitoring each other for signs of illness and reporting to teachers. Teachers then check students daily for fever or symptoms and report any illnesses to the school head. The school head notifies parents if a student is sick and has the sick student wear a mask and see the school health staff or local clinic. The same process is followed for teachers. Sick students or teachers then follow the health staff's advice, which may include home quarantine while still receiving education. School heads also coordinate with local health offices on COVID-19 cases.
