    on Technological Upskilling and Reskilling for Teachers Using Interactive Application
    in Teaching and Learning Process

    Lawa Elementary School conducted an Online School Learning Action Cell on


    Technological Upskilling and Reskilling for Teachers Using Interactive Application in Teaching and
    Learning Process on December 13, 2021.
    The objectives of this webinar were to know the new technologies and the new trend of
    using ICT into education, help teachers stay relevant in the classroom for effective strategies in the
    positive use of ICT to facilitate teaching and learning process, and to assist teachers to become
    competent and confident in teaching using ICT skills.

    The said webinar was headed by our School Principal Mrs. Rosalia M. Paz, Principal I with the
    help of the webinar working committees and participated by the teachers of Lawa Elementary
    School.

    Our moderator, Mrs. Angelin O. Moyo, Teacher I, officially stated the title of the activity for
    the day. The opening program was started with the singing of National Anthem followed by a prayer
    led by Ms. Christine DR. Cervantes, Teacher I and singing of DepEd Meycauayan Hymn (Isang
    Pangarap). The roll call was done by grade level through an energizer led by Mrs. Jennylyn E.
    Libunao, Teacher I. A thought for the day was delivered by Mrs. Elizabeth D. Angeles, Teacher III,
    followed by the house rules presented by Mrs. Rishel A. Policarpio, Teacher I. Our school pricipal
    Mrs. Paz, welcomed us with a grateful and inspirational message. She also introduced the resource
    speaker of the said webinar.

    The discussion proper started by stating the objectives of the said webinar by our resource
    speaker Mrs. Phoebe Marie B. Starromana, Learning Resource Coordinator of Pajo Elementary
    School. She shared her expertise and knowledge on how to use the three applications and tools for
    teaching online classes such as Jamboard, Padlet and Prezi. These three applications were useful in
    creating slide presentations and videos to make lessons more interesting and interactive. She ended
    her discussion with the conclusion that technology is a versatile and valuable tool for teaching and
    learning and becoming a way of life but the most important thing is that teachers need to be
    prepared in using these technologies effectively. It was really a productive and enjoyable webinar for
    all us.

    The picture taking and awarding of certificates for the speakers, committees, and
    participants was awarded. The online seminar was ended with a closing remarks given by our Mrs.
    Elsa T. Pabustan, SPET I.
