ideas when combined together with the correct subordinating conjunction
give a variety of sentence structure. It provides beauty to the ideas presented
and avoids monotony compared to using short, simple sentences.
Study their uses and apply them in your writing to express your ideas
uniquely and more concisely.

What is It
Subordinating conjunctions are words or phrases that are used to link
a dependent clause to an independent clause. The dependent clause, as the
term suggests, has no clear meaning when it stands alone but when
connected to the independent clause adds up to an informative value to the
sentence as a whole.
Most commonly, subordinating conjunctions like because, in order
that, as, since, that and so that, when used show reason in complex
sentences.
Subordinating conjunctions like although, even though, though,
although, while and whereas, however, indicate concession and
comparison.
The following sentences will help you in identifying the correct use of
subordinating conjunctions.
1. The economy slowed down because restrictions had to be made.
2. The government implemented a lockdown in affected areas in order
