f.[O] Interpretation and Inference: After administering the attitude scale on each group
of students (10 boys and 10 girls), the mean of all th statements are calculated.
- , '
From these mean values, the group mean values are found as 2.12 for the group of
boys and 4.34 for the group of girls. The results indicate that the mean value for the
, group of boys is below the mean value of 3 of all the sta_tem en ts. This indicat s that
the boys have unfavourable attitude towards marriage..While the girls' mean value
is above the mean value of 3. This indicates that the girls have a favourable attitude
towards marriage.
Con lusion:
1
On
the basis of he present study, it can be concluded that girls have
more favourable attitude towards marriage tha the boys. 1
