ACCOMPLISHMENT
REPORT
Grade 9 Curriculum

I. Rationale:
As one in the mission of Department of Education , teachers have had
the desire to continue to deliver quality education instructions to the
learners even in this risky situation due to Covid-19 pandemic. In line
with the implementation of the new normal education system, the
Grade 9 teachers took their part as a response to the need of this great
changes. And since education is an endless process of learning,
teachers were motivated to continue to educate everyone in fulfillment
of their mission as educators no matter what obstacles on the way.

II. Accomplished Activities:

 Conducted enrollment through online and mobile phone ( thru text messages
and call)

 Prepared the area for self-learning modules distribution and retrieval


emphasizing the health and safety protocol must be followed

 Prepared the SLMs for distribution ( collated pages of modules)

 Completed an orderly distribution and retrieval of SLMs from first to fourth


quarter ( actual and thru electronic/digital for easy and comfortable access of
students staying in distant locations)

 Monitored the students regularly thru different platforms like fb private


group page, message apps, text messages and phone calls

 The Grade 9 teachers participated completely in LAC sessions intended to


help and support each other’s needs like to address the existing issues and
concerns in our curriculum.

 Participated webinars for teachers to develop expertise and promote


development to improve instructions to all students

 Complied COT for first and second semester

 Conducted virtual activities in the different subjects:

 Complied on time the reading of school forms and documents

 Distributed the Report card ( Form 138) to parents/guardians as the school


year ends
III. Documentation:

Enrollment for school year 2020-2021

Preparation of the area for distribution and retrieval of SLMs


Preparation of SLMs for distribution

Actual distribution and retrieval of SLMs


Regular monitoring of the students

Grade 9 LAC sessions


Post-interview for first and second semester COT

Participation of webinars
Virtual activities in the different subjects

Reading of school forms and documents


Distribution of Report cards ( Form 138)

IV. Conclusion:

The Covid-19 pandemic has created a huge impact to our normal


education system. The suspension of the face to face instruction was
one of the negative effects that everyone needs to adapt. For the
teachers like us, it was really hard to deal it in a sudden but we need to
act to fulfill and sustain our goals as teachers. We encountered some
changes like cancellation of activities in some of subject areas because
of some reasons. So, we looked for alternatives to have only activities
according to the capabilities of the learners based on the present
situation.

In this way, the learners still learn and continue to learn. The pandemic
has made a big difference in our education, but we need to stand
against this challenge by keeping positive mindsets to go forward and
finally to achieve our mission as teachers.
