Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to
explain and give at least one reason to look forward
to a certain subject.

Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will


be able to listen and answer the worksheet correctly.

PRE LESSON FINGER-WRITING

1. Teacher chooses some words related to the song


• To arouse pupils’
interest to learn. in Student’s book (pg 15).

2. Teacher divides pupils into pairs.

• Sample topic words.


3. Teacher tells one pupil in the pair to look at the
(a) Science board, and the other pupil to cover their eyes or put
(b) Maths
(c) Music their head down on the desk so that they can’t see
(d) Art
(e) English the board.
(f) Writing
(g) Subject 4. Teacher writes the topic word on the board.
(h) Social Studies
Teacher asks pupils to read and remember it, and

then rubs the word off the board. You could use a

picture if pupils may benefit from using a visual aid.

5. Teacher tells pupils who did not see the board to

stand with their back to their partner while the partner

writes the word on their back by using their finger.

6. Each pupil works out what word their partner is

writing.

7. Teacher reverses the roles so that each pupil gets

the chance to write.

English, his/her favourite subject is Science and my

favourite subject is Maths’.

12. Pupils continue in the same manner till everyone

gets a chance to speak.

Let’s Do It! 13. Next, teacher introduces pupils to ‘Let’s do It!’

activity.

14. Teacher plays an audio of a listening transcript

on a conversation between two pupils in class.

15. Pupils listen to the audio attentively.

16. Pupils answer the questions on the worksheet

provided based on the listening audio.

17. Teacher discusses pupils answer and guides

them if necessary.
