As part of our curriculum in the Senior High School, we are required to take the Work
Immersion Program as a subject that aims to develop among us the competencies, work ethics,
and values relevant to pursuing further education and/or joining the world of work. In this
regard, I am writing to express my intention of conducting my Work Immersion and be an
intern/trainee in your highly regarded company.
¶2 State the intention of your letter. In your case, let the institution/company know that you are
applying for an internship/trainee/immersion position. Mention the purpose of your immersion.
You can include a brief rationale or background of the subject/work immersion as part of the
curriculum. Include the relevant knowledge, skills, and work values that you can offer to the
company/institution, if they will allow you to enter their company/institution.
Rest assured that as a trainee, I will continue to develop enthusiasm and true passion in fulfilling
my duties and responsibilities as an immersion student/trainee.

CASE 1
Person A wrote a very good report to be submitted the next day. Since he will be absent, he ask Person
B to give it to their boss the next day.
Upon reception of the report, the boss praised Person B instead A. Person B did not say a thing instead
also welcomed the praise.
2. What are the possible consequences of what has taken place above in the following area:
Employee to Employee Relationship
- There might be a gap between person a and person b after the incident
Work Place Relationship
- Their work place relationship might be different as the usual since trust is the
issue in the scenario.
Your answer:
Person a and person b in the scenario might have not a good working relationship, in reality
there are instances that there are people who will grab spotlight just to make them feel that they are
better than the others, and even if it means resulting to negative impact in workplace. And it is
happening in reality, so as a person who someday will be working and will encounter different types
of colleagues, courage and honesty is a must in everything that I will do.
Person A is noted as consistent objector in the company. Every decision of the management, he always
have a negative comment about such or is always against it.
To add further she always posts in her social media account negative comments about the different
aspects of the organization. This continued until the company decided to terminate her for causing
damage to company image.
Your answer:
There are instances in our work place that we sometimes don’t agree with the decisions of our boss, or
superiors, but instead of bursting everything in social media, why not, try to figure out what you wanted
to express, and infact the policies that they are doing, will always be in accordance to the company’s
rules and regulation. If you can’t afford to follow everything that they are giving to you, better leave the
company and build your own that will satisfy your standards. Everything can be settled nicely and
social media is not the platform for it.
Person A was asked to be part of the preparation committee for a special program of the company. This
means that there will be days wherein he will have to stay for a few more hour beyond the schedule to
help. He refused stating that, “why should I, I am not the organizer of the program nor the Beneficiary”
The person a have the rights to disagree since it can be not part of her part of her job description.
Your answer:
Person a have the rights to disagree most especially, if it not part of her job description, but in reality
when you are working, it is hard to say no, when they asked you to do so, because as a part of the team
it is more than the time, this is what we called “pakikisama” so that we can build a harmonious
relationship with our colleagues and our boss.
CASE 4
Person A, B and C are employee of Company XY. Person A and B are good friends while Person A
and C are not. It so happen that both person B and C were absent, when an important information was
Person A informed B about the information given. But when it comes to C, he only said “It is his
problem, not mine. He should exert effort to know what transpired in his absence”
It is not her duty to inform person c, since it is not part of person A obligation to inform person C.
Your answer:
In a working place setup, it is not necessary to inform everyone about what they are lacking, or must
know, but as a part of the team, still it is righteous to tell a certain person what he or she needs to know,
because if that is a teamwork, then it will be easier for everyone if they are working in a place that
everyone is in good terms. Despite and in spite of instances, it is still correct to inform someone what
he or she needs to know specially if it has nothing to do personally with you.
Person A knew that Person B is involved in a trouble that might cause Person B’s termination from the
company they both work. Since they are friends, Person A decided not to say anything.
It is correct to report an offense in a company, I think person A doesn’t want to include himself in the
trouble that they are into, but not letting the company knew about it, will also make them think that
you’re included in the said offense.
Your answer:
In a company setup it is natural that there are some offenses that can be created by individuals, but
even he or she is your friend that are consequences towards their actions, and even if you are going to
tell them or not, in the end they will still find out the offense created.
I can apply this insights when I started working, I will be able to remind myself about the
learnings and insights I gained, in my study and my immersion, I will be able to handle things
through the skills I’ve gained and most importantly is that I am able to realize that a work place
isn’t as fabulous as I dreamt of it, and it is something that I need to work hard, so that everything
that I will gain are from the best of my ability.
