Reflection

As I read the different outputs of my co-teachers in their study

notebooks, I found out that they need a technical assistance to adapt in

the new normal platforms and modalities that they will use in the
distance learning in this school year. I honestly accepted that even me
as a leader has a big adjustment in this new normal.
As a LAC Leader and a Master Teacher is to have first a LAC session and
find out what they needed. Second step I will help them and assist
them in different strategies. Lastly I will share to them my knowledge
on how to make IMs, activity sheet and Whelp.
I will help them and promise to carry out my duties as a LAC leader to
the best of my abilities.

Reflection Questions:
 How can these lists of interventions help the teachers teach
better in the new learning delivery modality? Why is it important
for every teacher in your team to have them?
 What are the challenges in developing learning tasks in a Distance
Learning environment? What key competencies would you need
to assist teachers in?
 What is the difference in assessing students in between
traditional and Distance learning modalities? How can you guide
teachers in bridging gaps?
REFLECTION
At the beginning of the school year, the teacher should be ready the
needs of the pupils in the distance learning mode of
modality(Modular). The teacher may use different approaches. With list
of interventions, teacher can easily see those pupils who are not
answering their modules on time. The teacher sees to it have a list of
interventions so that we can plan the best methods to address our
pupils needs.
Teacher may experience a hard time expressing instructional content to
their pupils. The physical distance also proposed a difficulty in obtaining
pupils level of understanding. As a LAC Leaders I need to assist my co
teachers in giving them appropriate plan for intervention.
One of the challenges this distance learning is how to assess the pupils
without seeing each other (face to face) Traditional assessment is very
reliable, practical and easy to evaluate pupils output while distance
learning modalities are quite challenging is most viable for independent
learners and learners supported by parent or guardians.

 What makes the Weekly Home Learning Plan essential to the

process of Teaching and Learning in the new modality? What
are the essential elements of the Weekly Home learning Plan
will you need to look for?
The weekly home learning plan shall be prepared by teachers

implementing distance and blended learning. It helps teachers and
parents in keeping track of the day to day in school and home, as they
implement the most suitable alternative learning modality.
The essential parts of the weekly home learning plan are the learning
competency and learning task.

Assessment in the Modalities Plan
 As a Master teacher, how can you help the teachers in assisting

the students who are lagging behind? If all measures have been
exhausted by the teachers and still a certain set of students are
still not performing well with the new learning modality, what
are the steps you shall take to guide teachers in addressing this
matter?
REFLECTION
As a Master Teacher I will extend my help to my co teachers as well to
my pupils. We are all adjusting to the new normal. I will assist them to
explore the world of technology. Introduce to them the learning
portals, like Dep end Commons and LRDMS. Teachers and pupils should
remain open to new things, because life is a continuous learning.

To further assist and guide the development of competencies of the

teachers in my team, as a leader, we need to develop in them the
professional practice. Allow them to reflect on their way teaching
especially in the distance learning. Maintain a positive thinking, positive
outcome will be established. Good relationship in a work place is also
needed to improve professional and instructional practice.
CONCLUSION
In this course I learned a lot. I learned to be patient and l lend my
helping hand to my co teachers. For me this is not just a course it is a
life learned lessons. I also believe that teachers today are consider as a
superhero. They are amazing. they define multi-tasking. They are smart.
They always make it work especially in this pandemic times. They are
very dedicated and they never give up. As what Solomon Ortiz said
“Teachers are our greatest public servants; they spend their times, lives
educating our young people and shaping our nation for tomorrow.
