EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Opportunity. Today’s mode of learning has been changed and upgraded to online
classes due to the circumstances led by the pandemic; COVID 19, as a result there is a high
demand of quality internet connection and technological facilities since this one of the keys to
adapt online classes and to conform to the mandate of the education department.

The Solution. Internet education café; AGAPE. An internet café fused with education,
wherein the student – customers are eligible of some freebies inside the AGAPE.

The Difference.

o AGAPE has high quality technological equipment ready to be used by the student –
customer on their online classes.
o AGAPE offers different freebies to enhance the productivity and learning of student –
customer.
o Compared to other internet café, AGAPE is fused with education and offers high
quality internet connection.

Partnerships. The group of AGAPE is composed of different skilled professionals of


different professions connected to technology and education e.g. Computer Technician,
Teacher, etc. they are into helping student – customers to be a better learner and to experience
the best and quality offers of the AGAPE for their learning, improvement and productivity.

The Revenue. The group of AGAPE and the people that will be investing on us will be the
source of fund that we will used to expand the internet education café, help student -
customers and run the business.

The Team. The AGAPE group is led by a Civil Engineering student that is into helping his
fellow students as he is helped by the people around him. And invited different professionals
to provide a better and quality product offered. The AGAPE group has a dream to improve
the learning experience of the student – customer and provide necessary materials for the
adaptation of student – customers to the new mode of learning.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

In these times of trouble, a problem within a problem arises in which the primary
cause is the pandemic or the COVID 19. With this pandemic, problems and struggles are
born but then we, as a human thought of a way to counter these problems but another
problem comes up. Just like in the education sector, the education thought of a way to counter
the problem of lack of learning within the time of pandemic, then “online class” is born to
suffice and provide their primary role, to educate but then in the Philippines online classes
makes the life of a student messier that the face to face classes, as one of the students said,
“Face to face education is hard but it’s a lot harder to be in online class.”. So, the provision of
a better and quality internet connection is a need to those students that are involved in online
classes, to have a better experience and to cope up with the new mode of learning.

The AGAPE group offers the first internet education café to be built to escort students
towards their dreams. The “AGAdal ken agkaPE”, summarily “AGAPE” which also means
“the highest form of love, charity”. AGAPE, your buddy towards the victory. AGAPE is an
internet café infused with education, it is a room in which students are able to do their task as
a learner, to attend their classes virtually using computers and other gadgets offered at the
café , customer students will also be eligible of free tutoring if they are in the café and the
café will also offer free coffee, in summarize it is a room for students for their online class
with unique features and offers, that’s why it’s called an internet education café, AGAPE
“AGAdal ken agkaPE”.

Furthermore, AGAPE group objectives are to be able to supply high quality internet
connection, to help learners in understanding and finishing their modules and support learners
in achieving their goals and to promote quality learning at the same time enjoyment and
fulfillment to young learners.

INDUSTRY AND MARKETPLACE ANALYSIS

Students nowadays are in the new era of mode of learning as a result to the pandemic
that we are encountering right now, and with this new mode of learning or the so-called
online class, there is a need of a strong, stable, and high-quality internet connection, since it is
the key to learn more and a doorway to enter the virtual world of education without this the
performance of students are affected.

The students that are really affected in this mode of learning are those who are in the
remote areas or barangays that are far from the población proper and those places that really
have a bad connectivity. And one of those places is Sta. Ana, Echague, Isabela, as a response
we introduce the AGAPE an internet education café to aid and help those affected students in
their education. We will focus to help these students. Our market will be these students and
other interested individuals, since the need of connectivity is their demand, and this will be a
great help for them. I think that there is no need of more information about our market
because we already did a survey to assess if they will be interested in our product.

Industry. Students nowadays are in the new era of mode of learning as a result to the

Customer Analysis. Our target market is the elementary, secondary, and college students
that are engaged to online classes and those interested individuals to be part of the AGAPE
group. To reach our target market, we will advertise our internet education café through
social media and face-to-face advertisement. The availing decision depends on the quality or
on how the product can really help student – customers need.

Competitor Analysis. There is another internet café’s, but there is none in our place, that’s
why the competing factor is at low rate. Otherwise, if there are those that are to copy the
product we offer, by that time we already established the trust on our student – customer. And
we may offer loyalty programs to be our advantage and counter our competitors.

MARKETING PLAN

The market needs provider of high-quality connectivity that could be in their


advantage as a student. The difference between our product and competitor’s product is that
our internet providers are the big companies that are really into providing quality internet
connectivity and are trusted by other customers among others. The unique features of
AGAPE are its freebies for the student – customers, that is contributing to their advantage as
our customer and as a student. Also, AGAPE offers free tutoring on the subjects that students
are taking a hard time dealing with.

The problems that we are solving for our student – customer is their difficulties in
maintaining their internet connection which results to poor performance inside their class. We
want to solve the internet connectivity problem and provide a better experience for them, to
boos their confidence and enhance their productivity. The strength of AGAPE is we are
partnered with trusted internet providers, and we are using high technological equipment for
the better experience of the student – customers. For us, the only weakness of our product is
it is not well known yet compared to other internet café in the market.

Product/Service Description

Our product is providing quality and stable internet connectivity and high
technological and new computers and gadgets. The AGAPE room will be able to cater 20
students at the same time, aside from that that one tutor will be able to handle three-five
tutees at a time depending on the subject demand of the student – customers.

While students are engaging themselves on the different products and offers of
AGAPE they are eligible of free coffee but there is a small policy about that; “Timpla mo,
kape mo.”, that is to train them to be independent on other matters unless they are really
taking a hard time adapting to a given context. The product will be produced in partnership to
trusted internet provider and with the help of the professional tutors.

A milestone that we want to achieve is to be a leading internet café offering unique
qualities that are not available yet to the market and AGAPE will be known to be a quality
provider of internet connectivity.

Sales Strategy

We planned to advertise through social media and create an online website to promote
our product and services offered. We will also do sale activities during the anniversary of
AGAPE or to celebrate the birthday of the proprietor. Through social media we will be able
to advertise our product and service and will also make unique advertisement/promotion to
attract more market aside from what we have at hand.

Since, AGAPE group will be composed of different professionals then different ways
will be produced to achieve our goal, we will do it together and we will be resourceful in
winning our target market or customers to increase our sales and to be known to other places.
We will also do weekly posters and post pictures to advertise more.

Distribution Channel

AGAPE will only have one channel; direct sales.

 Direct Sale. Since our product demands an actual participation of our student –
customers Direct Sales is only applicable to experience and to be engaged with our
product.

OPERATIONS PLAN

The critical operations to the success of AGAPE is the failure of internet provider to
do their task because even if we will choose the best and trusted among other internet
provider in the Philippines and local providers, we cannot assure that every day and every
time is a good time, since they also need maintenance in order to provide better product, and
when they are updating or upgrading their product, we the users will be affected. Another
critical operation would be power interruption, though it may be solved by using generators
the satisfaction of the student – customer would be degraded if we experienced power
interruption while they are using our product. And the last one will be the failure of
technological equipment but then the Computer Technician is always present so that would
be less likely to be a big problem to the operation.

The product and services of AGAPE will be delivered in partnership to the best
internet providers and professionals that are into teaching and in technology.

Jaymar B. Corpuz is currently taking up his


Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at Isabela State
University. He graduated as calss Valedictorian in his
primary schooling at Sta. Ana Elementary School, he
completed both his Junior High School and Senior High
School at Don Mariano Marcos National High School and he
graduated as one of the With Honors in his chosen strand;
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). He is experienced the above-
mentioned problems that is the reason why he want to put up this project.

Conclusion

After doing the customer survey, we realized that our business idea can help the
students to have a better engagement on their online classes and can contribute to their
productivity as learners. Our product and services could gain fame in the market because it
solved the problems that the students are experiencing nowadays. Also we can produced
work to those professionals that are connected and are knowledgeable enough to improve our
product and service and be par of the AGAPE group. In conclusion, pursuing this business
would be a great help to the student learners.

Recommendations

These are the recommendations that we gathered on the interviewees regarding our
product.

 Produce more numbers of technological equipment to cater more students.


 Offer one-on-one tutoring; student – customers are willing to pay for this.
