Lesson Activities/Outlines:
Pre-Lesson Task 1 - ABCs
 Teacher provides a letter and pupils have to come up with a
word that starts with that letter related to a topic
Pre-Lesson:
(animals/insects e.g. g – giraffe, …, b - bee).
Teacher shares learning objectives and success criteria of the
lesson.

Reading the poem


 Pupils read the poem silently.
 Teacher assists in pupils’ understanding by asking some
questions.

True or False
 Teacher distributes the worksheet and pupils read the
statement whether it is True or False based on the poem.
Lesson Development:
 Pupils discuss in pair to check each other’ answers and
make corrections of the answer if there are mistake.

Mind-map
 Pupils make a mind-map on a piece of A4 paper about
themselves and provide simple reasons of their attitudes
or behaviour. [M.S.5.2.1]
 Upon completion, pupils present their mind maps and rate
their friends’ works by giving some good remarks.

Post-Lesson: Fact file


 Pupils name one of the best mind map of their friend and
state the reason of their liking.
