General Knowledge
⪢ Coyotes are nocturnal animals. They sleep during the
day so they can hunt at night because it is usually
cooler.
⪢ Coyotes use their howls to communicate.
⪢ They can run around 40 MPH.
⪢ Female coyotes can give birth to about 3-12 pups at
one time.
⪢ The amount of pups she has depends on the pack
size. The bigger the pack the less pups she will have.
⪢ Coyotes can live around 10 years of age.

Stewardship
This view shows that humans
should have the duty and
responsibility to manage
biodiversity. We should care for
our earth and animals, this makes
us good stewards.
3
“ Plans to protect air, water,
wilderness, and wildlife are
in fact plans to protect man.
-STEWART UDALL

Our system will be efficient because we
will:
Host annual hunts
Provide proper education
Monitor the coyotes
