 Integrative art ,it is the development of artwork. Integrative art, is like adding
more creativeness, artistics to give their art clear meaning for the audience,
viewers also the readers.
2. Discuss how integrative art is used in contemporary art.
 Integrative art,this is the kind of art techniques that every artists used to make
their artworks more beautiful, creative , meaningful and understandable .
Integrative art is used in contemporary art such as to develop , focus , portray
the meaning of art. It also teaching in every student.

modern art?

 My observation to the image is ,Artists focus on new art or modern art, they
using technology to broaden the meaning of arts.

 Faces ,that symbolize their emotions, feelings, and expression

 The theme of the images below is art about their faces showing feelings ,
emotion and expression.
What Have I Learned So Far?
1. Discuss the characteristics of contemporary art practices in your own words.

 Changes to Accepted Tradition and Accepted taste, it was enhancing or try to
do more unique. Artists want develop the art that does not affect the any
tradition and beliefs
 Understanding of a Multiplicity of view points, this characteristics seems to
have something to do with realities of their artwork that does not affect the
history etc.
 Issues and Ideas about the Role of objects in Space and Relationships between
objects, this characteristics is about the public places which can be place their
finished artwork and people will see.
 Use of Everyday Materials , this characteristics helps every artists to be
creative and realistic. Every artists use any wasted materials because they
can use it to build a creative artwork.
 Employment of Contemporary technology, this characteristics artists use
technology to create and make better art like singer can recorded their voices
through any digital devices also musician, artists etc.

1. What is the most important characteristic of contemporary art? Why?

 For me the most important characteristic of contemporary art is, use of
everyday materials because they teach us to use again any material or waste
to make art ,it also help our environment.
2. What kinds of materials do contemporary artists use in their artists?
 Examples of materials that contemporary artists use in their art are electronic,
car parts, bottles even eggshell to create an creative artworks.
3. How does technology help contemporary artists with their art? Give example.
 Technology is a great help to artists to create better artwork. For example is
they using Pinterest to marketing their works ,earn money. A lots of artists
using Pinterest to explore, to know and share .
What Have I Learned So Far?
2. Discuss how technology has changed the way artists works in art creation.
 Nowadays a lots of technology devices are now innovated and as time goes
on, it innovates even more . Technology helps every artists to further show
their skills in making art but they has changed the way artist works in art
creation because the tools, equipment or the way how artist create their
artworks are gradually forgotten because of the technology rising.
Reflect Upon
1. Do you think instant availability and accessibility would lessen the value of arts?
 I think for me it would lessen the value of art , because where there is nit
much advanced or upgraded technology yet people still have to go to the
museum to see the works ,so now they can see it online . Example the
sculpture, paintings are now they can see it online but we do not see what its
really looks like ,their texture, how are small or large ,etc.
BEYOND WALLS 1.1
Many artists are now more like to create arts because of modern ,upgraded technology. The
time when there was not much and advanced technology, artists using a lots of materials such as
brushes, paints, tools to make sculpture etc. Now because of the technology you don’t need to worry
the materials that you will use ,many app, new media are now can you use such as 3D, Photoshop,
video art etc. Also artists who are accustomed to using materials to make art have been left behind.

D 1. Yes, Whang Od deserve to be the recipient of the national living treasure Award because she’s
one of those people who ties to community and folk art tradition. Also Whang Od is the last traditional
tattoo artist of the kalingas and they has strong character to continously they doing.
2 In my own opinion, Indigenous Filipinos also is nust the main attractions of the foreigners
because of them all the place and environment are all beautiful because they kept and preserved it.
3 If I were the last living descendent of a reputable folk artists, I will accept my grandfather’s
teaching . And because I want to learn them to be taught in the next generation as well.
V. GENERALIZATION
Lesson 15.
1. Contemporary art practices and production ,it is talking about in how every artists will give
more arts color ,value, meaning in a modern times . And also how they enhance their artwork
that there will be no complexities about history, politics, etc.
