I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson the students must be able to:
a. Identify and classify tools, implements and simple
equipment according to use,
b. Conduct beginning inventory of tools, implements,
and simple equipment

Preparation of Farm Tools, Implements, and Simple
Equipment for Agricultural Farm Operations.

tools, implements and simple equipments used in
horticulture.

A. Introduction What I need to know

The learner will have a walkthrough on the expectations


for this lesson.

The outlined topics to be discussed will be presented.

Learning objectives will also be presented as guide for


the students.

What’s new?

In this part a general question will be presented where


the students will be required to supply brief answers:
a. Ask the learners if there are farm owners among
them ?
b. Ask the learners who among them have a farmer
relatives ?
c. Ask the learners if some of them are already familiar
with the use of the different farm tools and
implements ?

the students.

B. Development What I know?

Given actual tools and equipment’s present on the


school’s inventory students will be task to name the
following tools and discuss how it is implemented and
answer the guide questions that follow.

What’s in?
The students will map out their prior understanding,
questions, constructed Farm Tools , Equipment’s and
Implements using the LINK chart.
What is it?
The students will be tasked to have a guided reading and
personal discussion on the concepts they need to
learn. Self-check (questions to test understanding)
will be provided at different parts of the lesson to help
students have a grasp of the readings.

What can I do?
Authentic task will be given to the students where they
will assume that they would need to prepare a land in
relation to planting Pinya.

Directions: In this activity you are the president of


Bugarin Pineapple growers association.
You are tasked to create a checklist for an inventory on
the tools and equipment’s that is needed by our local
farmers per farm in preparation , maintenance and
harvest of our crop..

The Students would be asked to create a list of tools they


have at home that is some used among the three stages of
farming Land Preparation, Maintenance , Harvest.
