Monitored process parameters and reported daily operation of Crude Distillation Units (CDUs) and
NHT / Isomerization Units and thereby ensuring safe, efficient and optimized plant operation.
Conducted Test Runs on Process Units for Process Parameters optimization in coordination with
Senior Engineer and Operations department.
Understanding and Reviewing native PFDs, P&ID, Control philosophy, Standard Operating Manuals,
and other engineering drawings.
Prepare Spreadsheets for Production Planning of the upcoming month.
Daily Material balance of Naphtha hydrotreating unit and Isom Unit to optimize the yield of the
products.
To ensure a smooth start-up and shut down activities of plant
Managed all jobs (Pig decoking of Heater, Replacement of Tubes and refractory, Cleaning of all
exchangers, Installation of new Bubble caps in a distillation tower, etc.) under supervision of senior
Engineer during Annual Turnaround of LUMMUS Crude Distillation Unit.
Process Modeling
Created plant simulation models on Aspen HYSYS, UniSim and Optimized plant operating parameters.
Designing and Rating of Heat exchangers using Aspen EDR.
Developing a spreadsheet for Hydraulic calculations of pipe sizing, pumps suction and discharge lines,
