Objectives of The Study Sample Thesis
This study aims to determine the risk potential of the street adolescents in Iligan City in
acquiring HIV or AIDS based on their level of awareness on HIV and AIDS infections, survival
mode, and sexual behavior. Specifically, the study aims to answer the following questions:
1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

3. What are the sexual behaviours of the respondents?
4. What is the level of awareness of the respondents on HIV and AIDS?
5. What is the HIV or AIDS Risk Potential of the respondents?
6. Is there a significant relationship between the respondent’s demographic profile (age, gender,
kind of work, average daily income, and educational attainment) with the risk of acquiring
HIV and AIDS?
7. Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of awareness, survival
modes, and sexual behaviour to the potential risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS?
Hypothesis
The following hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance:
Ho1: There is no significant relationship between the respondents’ age, gender, kind of work,
average daily income, and educational attainment with risk of acquiring HIV and AIDS
Ho2: There is no significant relationship between the respondents’ level of awareness, survival
modes and sexual behavior to the potential risk of acquiring HIV and AIDS
