Chapter Log: Love, Love, Love Alone

 Ms. Hilton passes away. Her house is put for sale.


 The people that moves in cause a stir in Miguel Street.
 Mrs. Hereira develops a friendship with the narrator’s mother because she would constantly go
to their house for refuge.
 The men of Miguel Street decided to beat Toni, but later realized that it was worthless.
 After Toni let the dog attack Mrs. Hereira, she finally decides to leave him, but leaves him a
week supplies for him.

Vocabulary
