Critical Reflection Paper
Scientific Revolution was indeed a history of numerous discoveries of things especially
ignorance, knowledge is power, ideal progress, and depiction of death in ancient history. It is
also the roots wherein historians, sociologists and scientists became interested in the relationship
of science and technology for the innovation of history. With this, the influence of the historians
and scientist leads to different scientific research, beliefs, and approach on science and
technology. In which, several scientific facts were used and critically analyzed how it will
contribute to society. Because of this, we can say that the scientific revolution is not just a
revolution of war, instead, it is a revolution wherein all the things that we used and were
invented in the previous history were the product of the scientific revolution.
Science and technology play a vital role not only in history but also in this modern era.
Science and technology always go hand in hand. Science is known as the study of knowledge,
which is made from a system and will depend on analyzing and understanding the various facts
through the use of the scientific method. On the other hand, technology will be the application of
the scientific knowledge that is formulated by the scientific method that will use for the
development and enhancement of society. Without science and technology, as a 21 st-century
individual, we cannot enjoy and appreciate things such as the internet, gadgets, equipment, etc.
that are essential in this present day. Moreover, the revolution of science and technology in
history is now being used as the basis and guide in modern contemporary society. The impact of
science and technology provides not only us but also the other students of the different insights
and approaches, into how the different processes and innovations emerged in society. In addition,
it also teaches and enhances our minds as a student on how we will critically analyze the
different processes that are being developed by the involvement of science and technology in
society. In accordance with science and technology, our assumptions and plans in the future did
not change. Instead, this assumptions and plans for the future will be our basis and guide to
further consolidate our goals through the use of science and the application of the technology to
achieve our goals and address the different issues utilizing the use of scientific methods and facts
as the references to solve an issue. In every reading, there are always new lessons and knowledge
that we can gain and filled our minds with numerous discoveries that make us more eager in
achieving our dreams and goals in the future.

Utilizing the use of science and technology to our future career is a way of preparation
for us as students taking up Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory to exemplify the skills
that will help us learn and discover new things as we go along to our journey to be a Future
RMT. With this, our understanding when it comes to science and technology is still being
developed and further enhancing as time pass by, this science and technology is a great influence
for us as we take up the health allied programs. Moreover, through this science and technology,
as we continue our journey we can solve and critically analyzed that different phenomenon that
we will encounter in our journey of undertaking through the use of the scientific and technology
as our foundation in our programs for us to be able to have an accurate approach towards the
phenomenon.
Nowadays, numerous issues in our country is not been address and one of these is the
role of science and technology in our country. Even though science and technology are accepted
in our society and this is the key element in the advancement and progress of most of the country
especially the Philippines. Because the Philippines has failed to manage it properly. Due to this,
our country faces multiple challenges such as natural disasters, environmental disruption, and
climate change. Also, the Philippines experienced a decrease in the economic growth of the
country. Hence, the Philippines is still not prepared to cope with the challenges. The Philippines
should invest more in the resources of science and technology, research development and
enhancement, and physical arrangement. This present time, we are lacking numerous scientists
and technologists that are needed for the innovation of the country. To aid the problem, the
Philippines should start in investing money in the research development plan and innovation of
different infrastructures that will help in amending the issue that our country is facing in the field
of science and technology, rather than wasting money that will not help for the improvement and
advancement of the country. In addition, our country should also look after the highly-trained
scientist and technologist as they are the one that is behind in the innovation and advancement of
our country.
Considering all of these, science and technology greatly affect our way of living since
historical times. As time goes by numerous innovation was being invented and developed to
further enhance our society and country. With this reflection, the essence of this will serve as our
manual that we should not forget how science and technology provide us innovation and

advancement that we have in the present times that will further enhance. We must capitalize
more on science and technology development rather than wasting millions and billions of money
that will not help in the development of the country.
