To Know how to better understand and
appreciate the meaning of a literary
text using different reading
strategies? This module will allow you
to recognize the critical reading
strategies that you may apply when you are reading and analyzing a text. These
strategies will help you improve your critical and creative thinking skills. This
module contains the lesson on Critical Reading Strategies.
After going through this module, you are expected to:
1. Identify the seven critical reading strategies;
2. Apply the critical reading strategies in reading the text and creating meaning
out of the text; and
3. Situate the text in the context of the region by writing a critical analysis.
