CRITERIA – FOREHAND SERVICE 5 4 3 2 1 TOTAL

Demonstrate proper service stance.

Uses proper grip, and holds shuttlecock correctly to release for contact.
Contacts shuttlecock below waist; racket head is below wrist to front of
side front foot.
Uses correct underhand forehand swing, rotates hips and trunk during
striking motion.
Follows through underhand swing across the body going to upper part of
opposite shoulder.
Demonstrates consistently the ability to serve high over the net with
accuracy and intent.

CRITERIA – BACKHAND SERVICE 5 4 3 2 1 TOTAL


Uses proper stance, grip, and holds shuttlecock correctly in front of the
racket to release for contact.
Contacts shuttlecock below waist; racket head is below wrist to snap
Forward.
Uses correct underhand backhand snap, and follows through forward
during striking motion to recover for offensive stance.
Demonstrates consistently the ability to serve low and offensive over the
net with deep and accuracy.
