Abstract
Banana fiber is a natural fiber which has a wide range of uses in handicraft
product developments such as mat, rope and twins but only 10% of its
pseudo stem is being used for making products and remaining is waste or
used as fertilizer. As it has a property like weatherproof, UV protection,
moisture absorption, anti-oxidant and bio-degradable. It can be used to
make variety of products that help farmers economically and have wide
scope to create a wide market. Recent studies have indicated that banana
fiber possesses a lot of advantageous physical and properties which can
be used a very good raw material for the textile and packaging industry.
Introduction
Banana fabric is created using raw materials which are generally
discarded after a banana harvest. These raw materials usually come in the
form of fibers which are taken from the stems of each banana and
discarded from the trees. These excess tree stocks are moved and are then
cut and processed into fibers which can be weaved together into a solid
fabric base. Banana fabric is the finest banana fiber fabrics manufactures

What makes Banana Fabrics different from simple Fabrics?
Brightness
 Water-repellent
 Breaking strength
 Hypoallergenic
 Stiffness
 The fibers from the banana stems throughout history have been used
to create banana textile for tablecloths, saris, kimonos and more.
Today, many designers and product manufacturers seek out banana
textile due to its resiliency, softness and sustainability. Banana
fabrics are especially great for raincoats and outerwear.
 We propose to our clients a silky blended fabric made with 75% of
banana and 25% of lotus in order to provide a fabric more
resistant, brighter and water repellent.
 Price
 Our price should be comparatively low than the competitors.
 Place
 We shall distribute our fabrics to brokers who will then place the
fabrics at outlets where such products of home care are sold. A
showroom shall also be designed along with the factory; where the
fabrics are to be processed and stitched,.

Promotions
We will promote our products through
 Local cable media
 FM radio
 Print Media
 Billboards
 Campaigns
 Demos
 Internet and interactive media
 Publicity
