Weekly Allowance: Analysis, Presentation and Interpretation of Data

This chapter discusses the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data from a survey of 100 students on the effects of TRAIN Law. Key findings include: 1. Most students (39%) had weekly allowances between P100-P200 before TRAIN Law, which decreased slightly to 38% after. 2. 89% of students had DepEd vouchers. 3. After TRAIN Law, more students' weekly savings increased to P10-P50, while fewer had savings of P100-P200. Transportation costs also increased for most students. Spending on school projects decreased for those spending P50-P70. Spending on basic school necessities increased for higher amounts.

This chapter discusses the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data gathered by the

researcher. The researcher handed out survey questionnaires to the respondents to know the

effects of TRAIN Law. All the questions stated in the statement of the problem were answered

and discussed.

CHAPTER V
SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter contains the summary, conclusion, and recommendation the researcher gets

from interpretation of gathered data that is very essential in this study.

This study was taken with the general objective of determining the effects of TRAIN Law

to the Grade 12 students of AMA Computer College Caloocan Campus.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of Senior High School students in AMA Caloocan

Campus regarding to the following aspects:

1.1. Weekly Allowance

1.2. DepEd Voucher

2. How TRAIN Law affects the Grade 12 students of AMA Caloocan Campus?

1.1. Allowance

1.2.Students’ Transportation

1.3.Students’ School Needs

1.4.Other Spending of the Students

Summary of findings

1. Demographic Profile of the Respondents

Based on the result of this study, the total number of the respondents is one hundred

(100). Out of one hundred (100), 38 respondents have a weekly allowance that is ranging from

P100.00-P200.00, 16 respondents have a weekly allowance that is ranging from P200.00-

P300.00, 26 respondents have a weekly allowance of P300.00-P500.00 and 20 respondents’

responds to the survey with allowance of P500.00 and above weekly. Out of one hundred (100),

89 respondents have a DepEd Voucher while 11 respondents don’t have.

2. How the TRAIN law affects the Grade 12 Students of AMACC

desire and the respondents weekly savings decreased. Even if there is price hike in some

goods, the respondents’ allowance can still cover their school needs such as their meal,

projects or activities and their basic necessities like ball pen, papers and notebook.

According to result of this study, there are significant effects and changes that happen to

the Grade 12 students of AMA Caloocan Campus after the implementation of TRAIN law.

Conclusion

Based on the result of this study, the researcher therefore conclude that there are

significant effects and changes that happened to the Grade 12 students’ spending in terms of their

weekly allowance, savings, school needs and their other spending.

more efficient, which was its purpose in the first place.

3. The future researchers are encouraged to conduct similar studies to the whole Senior High

School Students.
