ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. TITLE

CAPABILITY TRAINING ON THE UTILIZATION OF THE SDGT


TOOL FOR SCHOOL HEADS AND MEA COORDINATORS

II. BACKGROUND

The Department of Education has implementing programs and


projects with a common aim of providing quality instruction to the
ultimate stakeholders, the learners. Holistic learning development
means well-rounded individuals who are considered globally
competitive. This general aim can only be accomplished when programs
and projects are well implemented. Expected outcomes can only be
achieved based on the standards set by the department and how the
people involved qualitatively implement these programs and projects.
Capitalizing on the expected results, the school, district and
division level needs to collect an accurate and validate data to come up
with informed decisions. Accurate data then is significant, essential and
a must. Moreover, the data spells out the specific strategies the school
has to enforce and other requirements in monitoring programs, thus,
determine the strengths and improvable points while these programs
are still implemented.
III. OBJECTIVES

1. Review and refresh required data elements reflected in SDGT e-


tool;
2. Harmonized school data prior to SDGT preparation and
completion;
3. Familiarized the SDGT e-tool’s features and functions;
4. Escalate the purpose and importance on the utilization of SDGT e-
tool on School Monitoring, Evaluation and Adjustment (SMEA).

IV. TARGET GROUP AND DATE

Participants of this training are PSDSs, School Heads, MEA


Coordinators of all elementary and secondary schools in the
division.

August 21-23, 2019

Venue to be announced later

V. PROCESS DESIGN

1. Wear appropriate attire during the entire training.

2. Turn cell phone to silent mode.

3. Listen when somebody speaks.

4. Maintain cleanliness of the surroundings.

5. Exhibit high degree of professionalism.

6. Show RESPECT to everyone.
