C. Discussion
From the song we’ve sang, what facial expression
we did? Happy! Sad! Angry!
Yes! Happy, sad angry and surprised. Those words
are what we call emotions and today we will learn
about emotions.
So, what are emotions? Emotions are feelings, and
through facial expression we will be able to know
how someone feels.
I will show you some pictures of emotions and let’s
see what emotion is that.
Are you ready? Yes teacher!
The First picture will be,

Look at his facial expression, what do you think he

feels? Happy teacher!
Very good! It’s happy. Why do you think he’s Because he saw his friend.
happy? Yes. Maybe he saw his friend. What would
you feel if someone gave you an ice cream? Can Happy teacher!
you show your happy face?
Wow! What a beautiful happy face.
Sometimes we might have an emotion of being
happy and we might laugh.
How about you are you happy today? Yes teacher.
When do you feel happy?
What else makes you happy? When we go to Jollibee!
Wow! That’s a happy day for you. How about you
grace? When I play with my sister.
That’s wonderful!

Now, let’s see the next picture.

What can you see in the picture? He’s Sad teacher!

Very Good, he is sad.
How about you, can I see your sad face?
Sometimes when we are sad, we are crying right? Yes teacher.
How about you, had you feel sad before? Yes teacher. When my dog died I felt so sad and
I cried.
Oh, I’m sorry for that.
Anyway, let’s see our next picture. Can you guess
the next emotion? Happy! Sleepy Angry.
Let’s see if you’re correct.
What do you think he feels? Angry teacher.
Very Good. He’s angry. Can I see your angry face?
Sometimes when we are angry we shout to release
our anger, Isn’t? Yes teacher.
When do you feel angry? I get angry when my brother gets my toy. And I
Oh, you can share toys with your brother. punch him.
We get angry when someone did something bad to
us right. But remember you have to know how to
control your anger because you might get hurt or
you might hurt someone. When you are angry, you
count 1 to 10 to lessen your anger.
Again, what emotion is this? Angry!
Very Good!
Now, let’s see our last picture. Are you ready? Yes teacher.

It’s a surprised facial expression.

Maybe he was surprised to see a beautiful place.
Let’s do the surprised face.
Wow! What a beautiful surprised face of yours.
Have you been surprised before? Yes, teacher, when my daddy gave me a Barbie
doll for my birthday present.
Wow, what a beautiful surprised.
Yes, Xian? When my father bought me a toy car.
Wow! That’s a beautiful toy.

Again, what are the emotions we learn today and

let’s do them? Happy
Sad
Angry
Surprised
Excellent!
How about you? How do you feel today? Are you
happy? Sad? Angry or Surprised?

D. Application
Today we will have a group activity. Go to your
group mates and form a circle. It’s Color Time!
Now listen to the instruction of teacher. I have
here clay and paper. Each group will draw different
emotion inside the circle using clay. In the first
circle draw the happy face. In the second circle
draw the sad face. In the third circle, draw the
angry face. And in the last circle, draw the
surprised face. Are you excited? Yes teacher.

Direction: Draw the different facial

expressions using yarn.

Happy Sad

Angry Surprised

E. Generalization
Look at the works of your classmates, are they
beautiful? Yes teacher!
What emotions is the first artwork? Happy!
How about the other one? Sad!
The third artwork? Angry!
How about the last artwork? Surprised!
Wow! Wonderful.
So those emotions are important because we will
be able to know how someone feels. And we
should show our respect and understanding to
them if ever they are sad or angry.

IV. Evaluation

Direction: Color and match the emotions that are similar to each other.

V. Assignment

For our lesson tomorrow, bring printed or drawing

pictures of different kinds of farm animals.
Tomorrow we will talk about the different farm
animals.

Before we go home. What are the things you

need to remember? Do not go with strangers.
Great!
Let us pray. Angel of God, my Guardian Dear to whom God’s
love and trust me here ever this day be at my side
to light and guard to rule and guide. Amen.

Good day class! Good day teacher!
