CMO 28, S. 2007-PS - For - BS Aeronautical - Engineering
In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722,
otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994,“ and by virtue of Resolution
No. 839-2006 of the Commission en banc dated December 4, 2006 and for the
purpose of rationalizing the aeronautical engineering education in the country, the
following policies and standards shall be hereby adopted and promulgated by the
Commission.
ARTICLE I - INTRODUCTION
4.1 Objectives
To prepare the students for professional aeronautical
engineering career to assume leading roles in the technological
and socio-economic development of both local and foreign
Aviation Industry, particularly in the areas of aircraft research,
development, manufacturing, maintenance, operation, and
aviation education. Aside from their professional knowledge
and skills, the graduates must also possess strong foundation
in the physical and basic engineering sciences as well as in
human relations to enable them to meet the challenges being
brought about by the rapid technological progress in
Aeronautics.
