DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

The business will be a servicing company since that we will


be serving products to our customers, wherein those products
will be bread roll and juice. Our business was just starting, so
we can say that we were just new entrants. Our business form is
Partnership since we’ve invested an equal amount which will give
us an equal rate of returns. The expected customer will be the
Students of La Consolacion College Baao, Personnel, parents, and
any outside individual or those who are outside the school
campus.

Our business will be successful because we are offering


great products with great and unique promos. Also, we always
make sure of the maintenance of our product’s quality which is
greater than our fellow competitor’s products. Aside from our
products quality, it is also proven to be successful and
effective since we’ve tried to sell this product last year and
it has a good remark because we’ve earned more profit than
expected.

Also, the thing that makes us different from the other


company is our very innovative thinking, its adaptability, its
great promos and offers, and its accurate monitoring of the
growth of our business and its competitors.
PRODUCTS/SERVICES
As the business venture started, we decide to have a
servicing type of business. Rolly molly is the name of our
business, featuring the bread rolls and different kinds of
beverages that the customer might suggest. Our bread roll is
consist of cheese and hotdogs inside the bread rolled and deep
fry in 1 liter hot oil and toasted with bread crumps. The bread
was being flattened by the rolling pin and inside of the bread
we will put cheeses and hotdogs and roll it in a way that the
bread will look long. We will deep fry it on hot oil and after
the bread is dry, we will roll it in the bread crumps to make it
crispier. About the beverages, we can look for suggestions from
the customers but on our first day, we will serve natural juices
like buko juice and cucumber juice.

Ingredients Materials Needed

 Slice Bread  Knife


 Eggs  Rolling Pin
 Cheese  Frying Pan
 Hotdogs  Gas stove
 Ham  Tongs
 Cooking Oil  Wire pack
 Bread Crumbs  Chopping Board
 Milk

Procedures:

1. Trim edges of the bread and with a Rolling Pin, flatten


until it gets thin. Then arrange a piece of ham, hotdog and
cheese at the edge of bread, and roll bread into a log to
enclose filling. Press lightly on seams to completely seal
(or secure with toothpicks and remove when ready to dredge
in Bread Crumbs). Repeat with remaining slice breads.
2. In a bowl, combine the egg and milk then whisk together
until well-beaten in a shallow dish and combine bread
crumbs.
3. Dip bread rolls in egg mixture and roll in bread mixture,
potting down crumbs to fully coat.
4. In a wide thick-bottomed pan over medium heat. Heat about
2-inch deep at oil, place prepared bread rolls seam side
down and fry until golden, turning on sides as needed.
Remove from pan and drain on a wire rack. Set over backing
sheet, Serve Hot!

Last school year 2016-2017, Senior high school students


from Accountancy, Business and Management formulated a business
plan proposal regarding the selling of Bread rolls to the Senior
High School students in La Consolacion College of Rinconada Baao
Campus, Baao Camarines Sur. It was highlighted that the bread
rolls made by the students were sold to the SHS students only
but this business plan improved the business venture into more
concise and organize manner. By creating this Market analysis
under the business plan, the Potential Market, Available market
and the Penetrated Market will understand how the business will
arrange transactions in order and how the business will supply
their unlimited needs.

A much broader appeal exists for the weekdays spots because


those are the days that the most target market enjoys buying
foods.

Age: From 3 to 50 years old (Students from kindergarten to


Senior high school students including the personnel and non-
personnel in the school)

Sex: Both men and women

Income: From 5,000 to 20,000

Occupation: Professional teachers, students and others.

Potential Market includes students who are the target in this


business because as stated in the location, we are located near
LCCR-Baao Campus.

Penetrated Market includes teachers, administrators; principal


and other staff of the school who have built an interest on our
product and chooses to buy.
MARKETING PLAN

The Product
Our product will be bread roll and a juice, we make those
two as our product in order to make sure that our customers will
no longer need to other places if they were going to buy
something to eat or to drink. We’ve prefer to make them a tandem
as our product since that we’ve think that if there is something
to eat, they will also need something to drink.

The product will be made of healthy and quality ingredients


that will help our customer to be healthy as well, we also make
sure that it will be delicious and worth buying, and a product
that they will always look for and won’t forget. Since we’re
just only beginning, we will make sure that we would catch the
customer’s attention at first glance and provide a high quality
product as much as we can.

The Target Markets


Knowing and determining the target market will greatly help
us to focus our products and services to specific people.
Through this, we could set our aim in order to achieve our
target profit, provide enough supply of our products to our
consumers, and come up with a better decision to deal with the
upcoming situations.

Since that we’ll be producing food and drinks, our target


market will be the following:

 Students
They will be the main target of our product since they
are the primary consumers of our product. Aside from being
our primary consumers, they are also the closest customer
since the environment of the business will take place in
the school ground.
 School Personnel
The school personnel are included in the target market
since they are also occupying the school ground with the
students.

 Parents
They also belongs to our target market since that the
parents are the one going in and out of school, the fact
that there are parents around probably means that they are
there for their kids, through our products we will
encourage them to by healthy food and drinks for their
children to ensure the safety and healthy growth of them.

 School Canteen
We will ask them if we could sell our products to them
and be their regular supplier, particularly the food (Bread
roll) since there’s a lot of drinks in the school canteen.
By this, we could assume that our product won’t be wasted
and will completely penetrate the market.

 Outside Individual/Anyone
Just in case, we will also sell our product outside
the school campus knowing the possibility that our product
might not be consumed just inside the vicinity.

Product Strategies
In order to assume our profit and keep our business
growing, we’ve make different strategy that we can use to make
sure of our investment’s return. The said strategy will be the
following:

 Packaging
The product will be wrapped by printed papers with
our business’s name and product name, this is to ensure
that they will recognize and remember our products. Even
though our product will be the same, the packaging of our
product will be classified into three different types:
For adults, teens and kids. This is to make distinction
of the customer from each other. The packaging will be
based on those three classifications. For adult, the
packaging will seem formal and simple. For teens, it will
be a bit classy and a modern design, and for kids, it
will be catchy and suited for their taste.

 Special packaging
This will be applied if there is a special occasion
in a month or seasons. Particularly in February which is
a month of love and romance. This is to make sure that
regardless of the situation, our product can maintain its
competence and to not be left behind by our fellow
competitors.

 Product Line
The product will cover the entire school ground and
the entire students to make sure that our product will be
known. We will provide as much quantity as necessary with
a good quality product to our customer.

 Positioning
Our main focus in marketing will be to increase
customer awareness in the surrounding community. We will
make sure that the product that we will provide will not
be expensive nor cheap, however, we aimed to maintain the
high quality of our product to ensure the satisfaction of
our beloved customers.

Pricing Strategies
The Price

Our product will follow the premium pricing in order to not


to make confusions to our customers. We will set a stable or a
fixed price to our product and to keep our business growing, we
will maintain its price but increase the quantity of the product
if we see that the demands of our products are getting well.

The product bread rolls will be priced at 10 pesos each and


5 pesos per drink. However, if we will be given the chance by
the school canteen to supply them with our product, we will sell
it to them at the price of 9 pesos each and they will decide
whether they will increase it depending on their service. As
mentioned earlier the drink won’t be sold at the school canteen
because they are providing a lot of drinks.

We will also give a promo wherein they can save 5 pesos per
purchase of our promo. Our promo will be “Buy 3 bread rolls and
get free drink”, that’s how we can encourage them to buy our
product in a bigger number.

In order to monitor our product and the growth of our


business, we will list the names or number of customers buying
our product which will serve as a survey. By having this, we can
measure and determine if our product is continuously growing, or
having a loss. In addition, through this we could adjust the
quantity of our product being produced every day and also with
the help of this monitoring, we could easily grasp the situation
and know how to deal with it, and come up with the best solution
for our business.

We will also observe the behavior of our fellow competitor


and keep on monitoring them to see what we’re lacking and to put
ourselves in advantage.

The customer should pay our price because it is very


affordable and we serve a delicious product with the best
quality that will provide them satisfaction. Our product gives
promo that will never be found from other and also we put our
customer’s satisfaction a priority.
Credit Policies
Since we were just beginning our business, we make sure to
have a good impression to our customers and to make them enjoy
our product and services. We will do our best to make a good
customer relationship and make sure that we will be
approachable.

As mentioned earlier, we will enlist the number of customers


purchasing our product to keep monitoring the status of our
business. In the first day launching of the business, we will
familiarize those customers buying our products in the first day
and monitor their behaviors, if they will buy our product the
incoming days or will they stop buying it. The record of the
number of customers buying our product will serve three (3)
purposes:

1. To record the status of the business

By enlisting the number of customers buying our


product, we will be able to record the number of
customers buying our product every day, if the number
of our customer is increasing everyday, if it’s
decreasing or the number of buyers is stable. By
knowing this, it will be easier for us to make a
better decision regarding our product.

2. To keep track of the growth of the business

With the help of the lists of the buyers, we will be


able to adjust the quantity of our product and at the
same time, monitor its quality. By recording the daily
purchases, it will be easier for us to determine if
the business is making progress or not. The greater
the demands, the more the supply will take and by
this, the greater the possibility of the return of our
investment.

3. To keep record of the customer’s credits

Since we are recording the customer’s purchase, we are


able to find out those who become our regular
customers and those who don’t. The more they make
purchase of our product , the greater the possibility
that they can take our product for credit. Once
they’ve become our regular customer, we might give
them the discount for their purchase and at the same
time, make a good customer relationship with them.

By listing their names on the record, and signing it, we will


let them take our product in credit. Their names and signature
will be the proof of their purchase and agreeing to our
conditions, the credit policies of our business will be shown as

With regards to competition, we will do our best to avoid


from being too focused on the price competition since we don’t
know our competitor’s products yet. Knowing that our products
will differ from each other, the price will also be different.
Their product’s price might be higher, lower or the same with
us.

Aside from offering our customer a promo, we will also give them
other choices. We will deal with our customers excluding the
price through the following:

 Inspirational messages attached in the product
 Unique packaging
 Dedication messages (from:_____ & to:_____) wherein they
can give our product as a gift for their loved ones.
 Customer services wherein we will hear out their comments,
suggestions, or recommendations regarding our product. With
this we can make further enhancement and serve our products
efficiently.

Promotional Strategies

Developing our product, pricing it and serving it doesn’t


ends there. In order to achieve our target returns, we must take
the other factor into considerations. To secure our products
profit, we will make everyone know about our product, the more
the person who knows the product, the more the increase in the
possibility of their purchase.

In order to achieve that, we’ve decided to give Flyers to


everyone wherein the details about our business and the products
we offer will be indicated in the flyer. We will also use Social
Media as a means of advertisement and promote our product in
public wherein a lot of people can see our products offered. In
addition, we will also tell to our friends or relatives about
our product and encourage them to spread the information about
our product.

With this, the possibility of our product being consumed


everyday will gradually increase wherein it will help us to
reach the target return or if we’re successful, we might even do
better than the expected returns.
LOCATION

Rolly Molly location will compartment in size from 50-70


meter square and will occupy from 25-75 customers. Our first
location will be on the larger end of this compartment. The
location will feature the canteen of the school. We will provide
with clean materials and aim for the cleanliness of the place
for the customers fetching and willingness to buy our product.

The space selection will be chosen based upon the following


criteria:

*Cleanliness of the place

*Easy access

*Students, personnel and non-personnel's destination

All of their quality is concordant with Rolly Molly's goal


of providing a great food experience. We want our product be the
"word-of-mouth" of the month to be our best form of marketing
where our customers appreciate our brand as something exciting
and unforgettable one.

This will be a good location for our business since it


covers a huge number of populations of different customers. This
area will be beneficial to us because this type of place really
suits our product.
COMPETITION
The competition in selling our own product to the students
or the population of La Consolacion College of Rinconada Baao
Campus is quite intense due to we are divided into 4 group
selling our own product, though we’re not sharing same products
we still have the same people to be the prospect customer since
were in the same vicinity and the same large competitor which is
the school canteen that offers various of products to be the
snacks of everybody in the school. The interest to buy in the
school canteen would be divided since we’re here introducing a
new product that will surely be their newest favorite aside from
the menu that the canteen has to offer. The product of the other
group that will be marketed is pastries, lumpia and puto cheese.
We surely are one of a kind because we have a food and drink to
offer since it would be hassle to our customer to find another
store that offers a drink because after eating our product they
feel thirsty, that’s the reason why we offer both drink and food
to our customer. Our product would be bread roll that is surely
being flavorful and full our customer’s stomach. The drink would
be either the powdered juice or fresh buko juice that will fill
their thirst.
MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

Management Experience
Since the business was just beginning, the management
experience of the management team is as good as an amateur,
because as mentioned earlier, we were just new entrants.
Therefore, we ought to fill our lapses through hard work and
continuously gain knowledge from our experiences that will help
us to create enhancements to our products and services.

Functional Areas
In order to keep the business function accordingly and
smoothly as planned, we’ve divided the management team into
several areas. Those areas will be the following:

 Financing
The business must be financed properly,
accurately, and honestly to determine the progress of
our business. It is very significant to record
everything that occurs in the process because it will
be the basis of the future decision that the business
will take.

With regards to it, the one who will handle this


area of management will be Ms. Geobelle Sanchez since
she is capable of handling such task.

 Cooking
This area serves a very significant role in our
business because this is the much input to serve our
product to our beloved customers. Because of this, we
are able to give our very own product to our customers
without delay and because a great product is the
fruition of the great input.

The one who will handle this area of management


will be Ms. Chelsea De Los Santos since she’s the only
one who knows how to cook and make this product
without fail. Her capability of making delicious Bread
Roll is the reason why she is the one chosen for this
task.

 Ingredients Buying
This area of management is very important since
it is necessary to make our product. This will serve
as raw materials that we will use to make our product,
with the help of these ingredients plus the superb
labor of our cook, we will be able to give a product
that is very unique in taste and sight.

In this area, the one we choose for this task is


Ms. Mary Joy Barbosa and Ms. Myra Bustarga since they
are very familiar with the necessary ingredients and
its price, with their knowledge about the market’s
behavior, we can save a lot of money that we can use
for other expenses.

 Juice Making
This is very important since it is the area of
management wherein it is the input to make a juice.
We’ve included this to our product to pair it with
Bread Roll, with this, our customer will no longer go
to the other company just to get a drink when they get
thirsty.
The one chosen for this task will be Ms. Danica
Jane Blancada because she knows how to make juices
with accurate measurements and has a very unique sense
of taste, and also, she is capable of thinking the
best flavor of juices for the best food.

 Recording
This will also play a very significant role in
our business because it is necessary to keep
monitoring about the progress of our business, if it’s
making growth or not. With this, we can secure the
rate of increase in our profit, and we can also keep
record of those who purchased our product through
credit.
The one chosen for this task is Ms. Pauline
Barcenas for her outstanding creative and accurate
writing/recording skills, and also, she has the
patience which is necessary to complete the given
task.

 Packaging
This is very important because this is how the
appearance of our product will be determined. This is
where we must showcase our unique and delicious
products.
With regard to this, everyone will do the task in
order to fill our lack of creativity because the
management team will be somehow shorthanded.

Since our company is a partnership, every report will be


conducted in every meeting where everyone will be gathered. In
terms of salary, the management preferred to distribute the
salary depending on the capital ratio.
PERSONNEL
The success of the business will vary through the help of
the employee who are trained well by the business and has the
good quality of being an employee.

To be a good employee, the business must give them


incentives and benefits where they can use for their needs in
present and in the future that can help them to do better job.
One of the incentives or benefits that they might receive is
that they can receive an extra pay if the business has increased
its sales.

To be able to have a good customer relationship, the


employees must be good in terms of communication skills. They
must know how to apply the quote “customer is always right”.
They must secure their patience over customers who change their
minds seconds apart. The business must train them on how to be
diligent and polite to the customers whether it is young,
teenager, or adults. They must treat them equally to serve them
respectfully.

The people we need is always available because we choose


high quality workers and we must keep them available because the
business will need more people if ever the business will grow.
The business is just small one, that is why the people available
are very few because only few people are needed in the business
unlike other big businesses.
APPLICATION AND EFFECT OF LOAN OR
INVESTMENT

an asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will
generate income or will appreciate in the future. In an economic
sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not
consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth. In
finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the
idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will be
sold at a higher price for a profit.

In order for us to start up our business we need to


identify and provide the investment for us to come up with a
successful product. The investment in our product will be
contributed by all of us, we will contribute Php 100.00 each.
For a total of Php 1,000.00 that will serve as our initial
investment. The money will be use in order to buy the
ingredients of our Bread roll. We will buy hotdog, ham, cheese,
bread crumbs, oil, and especially bread. We will also sell juice
for our customers so that they will have refreshment after
eating our product. We will buy packed juice, ice and plastic
cups for the juice.

The investment will really help to start up our business.


The investment will be the key for us to gain profit because
it's the main tool to buy ingredients and make a product. Our
investment is will be exact for us to buy our ingredients and we
are sure that we will gain high profit for it.

We can repay our contributions by gaining profit and we


will divide it in our group in order for us to take back our
capital and have interest on the sell product.
