    STUDENTS VIEWS ON CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

    Co-curricular activities are more important to all student, especially to student ^ are

    taking SPM. All student must attend to co-curricular activities. It will make them active.

    Some good student got good results but had problems in co-curricular ^ .

    Most favoured co-curricular activities by students is English Language Society, Boy

    Scouts, and the Badminton Club. This activities are always packed with students. Student

    learn to improve their speaking skill in English Language Society. Boy Scouts activity help

    student to build confident. Badminton Club help student to become fit and healthy.

    Therefore, there have many problems faced by students due to co-curricular activities.

    Some students have to miss tuition because they have activities at that time. They got

    transport problem because some of the students live far with the school. They also ^ no time

    to do homework because they too busy with co-curricular activities. They ^ too tired to revise

    at night and this ^ affect their academic studies.

    There got some complaints by students about the co-curricular ^ . One of the

    complaint is the poor leadership of the club, society, or uniformed unit. The leader do not act

    professionally and disrupt the activities. Students also complaint about action that ^ not taken

    against the absentee. This cause students who go to the activities to ^ fed up.

    The students tell some things to improve the situation. The first suggestion is to allow

    students to choose only one co-curricular activity. With this they can focus on the activity and

    also their academic ^ . Other suggestion is to change the day from Wednesday to Saturday.

    Students do not have tuition that day as they can go to school.

    Co-curricular activities ^ important so student must participate and take part ^ the

    activities. Hopefully the problem will ^ resolved and students will get good co-curricular

    marks.
