ASSOCIATE, FULL OR YOUTH MEMBERSHIP?
Associate Membership is how many new members start as they first begin to learn and practise Buddhism. We welcome
Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike to support the Society by applying for this membership.
Full Membership is open to practising Buddhists who have taken the Three Refuges and the Five Precepts with an ordained
Buddhist monk or nun.
For Full Membership we need your Membership Application Form to be endorsed by our Spiritual Director, Ajahn Brahm, or a coabbott of Dhammasara Monastery, or their representatives (please approach them in person for their signature). For those not in
WA a letter written by an ordained member of the Sangha stating when and where you have taken the Three Refuges and the Five
(or more) Precepts is sufficient or you may take the precepts online at http://community.dhammaloka.org.au/content/41-Takingthe-Five-Precepts
Only Full members have voting rights and are eligible to be office bearers of the Society.
The same annual fee of $50 applies to both Associate and Full membership, with Associate membership able to be upgraded to
Full membership at any time at no extra cost.
Youth Membership is free of charge to those under 18 years of age.
Life Membership is available for both Associate and Full members for the equivalent of 20 years membership and will save you
ever having to renew again in this lifetime!
