METHOD STATEMENT FOR REPAIR OF HONYCOMB
SCOPE:Scope of the worke includes control &rectification of honey combs in concrete surface.
GROUTING:This work shall consist of furnishing and grouting of honey comb portion with CONBEXTRA GP2 or
equivalent chemical with water ratio as per manufacture specifications.
MATERIALS:1.Water: The water to be used shall be free from oils, acids, alkalis, salts, sugar, organic materials or other
substances that may be deleterious to concrete and steel. Potable water generally considered satisfactory.
The water to be used shall satisfy the requirements as per IS 456-2000.
2.Grouting material: CONBEXTRA GP2

The surface where treatment to be received shall
be cleaned properly with suitable brush / tool and
remove the oil materials and surface shall be
roughned. The surface shall be pre-wetted with
suitable tools.

or equivalent. Care should be taken to ensure
that the surface is dry while applying Nito Bond

METHOD STATEMENT FOR REPAIR OF BULGED SURFACE

Procedure
The surface ( where treatment to be
received )shall be measured for the
amount of bulge and then start chipping
using suitable tools. During chipping the
reinforcement should not get exposed to
the atmosphare .
After chipping the surface shall be cleaned
properly with suitable brush / tool to
remove the debries. Then the surface
shall be pre-wetted with suitable tools.
The surface then shall be coated with Nito
bond or equivalent. Care should be taken
to ensure that the surface is dry while
applying Nito Bond or equivalent.
The consistant paste of CONBEXTRA
GP2 or equivalent should be prepared and
the effcted area should be packed
properly.
The repaired area to be cured continiuosly
for 7days.
