Visit of Rev.

RajanSachdeva to Seattle Seattle Branch of SantNirankari Mission was blessed with an opportunity to host two congregations in the presence of Rev. RajanSachdevaJi from Michigan on Friday May, 17 and Saturday May, 18. He is popular among all the saints for his poetry, simpleyet invaluable thoughts, and his passion for music. Saints from Vancouver also joined for both the congregations and showered extreme love and blessings to the Seattle Sangat. The sangat on Friday started with devotional songs in praise of the true lord master. The saints also expressed their feelings suggesting the importance of humbleness in the path that Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj is showing to this mankind. Rev. Jagjit Paul ji from Vancouver expressed gratitude towards this mission in blessing all of us with God Knowledge which could not be achieved by many even with years of worship and hardships. He also mentioned the importance of saints like Rev. Rajanji who visit different places, not caring about their own comfort and health and who selflessly work towards spreading the message of Truth to this world. BalSangat of Seattle branch also took the blessings through a devotional song expressing their appreciation to the Nirankar for the countless blessings in life.

Rev. RajanJi from stage did a discourse on Holy AvtarVani, Verse 112. Using stories from Swami Vivekanands life, he beautifully explained the purpose of life not being attainment of best of education, jobs, and luxuries; rather it is to unite soul with super-soul. He elaborated that this is possible only with the company of saints. He also quoted spirituality to be individualistic and mentioned that there is only one path to reach yourself. He talked about recognizing the Satguru (preacher of the Truth) and then having his words/ message reside in your heart. He also gave examples of how a spiritual person could enjoy the materialistic things while being non-attached to them.

The congregation of Saturday was organized as a Kavidarbar with Rev. Rajanji presiding from the stage. Saints from both Seattle and Vancouver took blessing in the form of poems in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and English languages. The poems covered wide variety of feelings of saints ranging from the dilemma of purpose of life to thankfulness to Satguru for showing the path of love and humanity to mankind. Rev. Rajanji enlightened the saints with the importance of humbleness. He expressed the gratitude to the Satguru for bringing the realization to us that how insignificant we are in front of this omnipotent lord and this brings the humbleness in the human. He mentioned two types of ego- burnt ego and false ego and emphasized on the process of getting the ego burnt and making it non-binding like a burnt rope. He also shared some of his poetry and mesmerized the saints with the beauty and simplicity in his words with which he expresses some of most valuable lessons of life. Seattle Sangat feels blessed and enlightened with the company of such learned saints and pray his holiness to keep showering such blessings and opportunities to learn.
