located next to the museum. Students may bring their own bagged lunch or

be allowed on the bus or at the museum, so please tell your child to leave

For this field trip, I am going to need 4 chaperones. If you are
interested in chaperoning, please email me by May 13th, 2016.
Please cut, sign, and return the permission slip below no later than
Wednesday, May 18th, 2016. Please place the $5 dollars required for
the field trip in an envelope with your childs name on it to give to
the teacher.

Dear ______________________,
Thank you for being a chaperone on our class
field trip to the Vulcan Museum and Park! It would
not have been possible without your help. The
students enjoyed sharing this wonderful experience
with you. I hope you learned as much as the
students did about the lives of the people living in
Birmingham during the Great Depression. I have
included the class picture that we took in this letter
so you can remember this amazing educational
experience.
