Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice)


Good Morning, today I will show you how to make "Nasi Goreng, Indonesian
fried rice. This dish can be enjoyed by itself or as the basis of a large meal. It
is very easy to make and won't take more than 15 minutes. Before make it,
we need the ingredients such as:

1 cup cooked white rice

2 eggs, beaten

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 onion, chopped

1 leek, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

1/2 pound deveined prawns

1 teaspoon ground coriander

3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (Indonesian kecap manis)


After the ingredients are ready, follow my steps

Steps
1. Heat a large frying pan until hot.
2. Add oil, and wait until it is very hot and slightly smoking.
3. Now add the onion, leek, garlic, and coriander. Cook, stirring, until
onion is soft.
4. Then add chicken and prawns and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes
5. Finally, add rice, sweet soy sauce, and egg mixture.
cook until prawn are pink and chicken is no longer pink in the center, 4
to 6 minutes.
6. Turn onto large serving platter and serve hot.
