To our esteemed Provincial Governor of the 2 nd District, Hon. Antonio H.

Cerilles,
distinguished and dynamic President of JHCSC Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, dignified School
Administration Officials headed by our Municipal Mayor and Campus Administrator Hon.
Roy E. Encallado, SB Member Mr. Jerome Reales and other notable members of the
faculty, non-teaching personnel, newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Council,
classmates and friends, a pleasant evening to everyone.
Once again we are gathered here for the tradition of our school which is the Annual Acquaintance
Party. This is a kick off activity intended for the new, old, returning and
transferee students to get to know one another in order to adapt to their new
environment, to build camaraderie, to enhance smooth-interpersonal relationship among
peers and instructors. One of the highlights of this gathering is the induction of our newly
elected officials of the Supreme Student Council.
Before we get things started, it is with great pleasure and pride to welcome my other
newly elected SSC officials and I wish that we illuminate what Rosalynn Carter once
elegantly said, "A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader
takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be." As we take the
lead for the entire school year, let us always remember to fire passion for transparency,
honesty, integrity, and above all, the spirit of camaraderie and unity.
Let us not be ashamed to share our skills and talents. By doing so, we are building
our self-confidence and we also learn. By having friends, we are expanding our networks
of brotherhood which would be very useful in realizing our schools Vision and Mission. As
JHCSC students, we must always aspire for excellence. We must be catalysts
of change and we must be contributors to the general welfare of our society.
Win friends, enjoy the night and lets get the party started!
