Summary of clinical
experience
ND: Experience is much
needed for a safe and
professional practice on my
part.
I do take responsibilities for
my actions and learn from my
mistakes.
S: My communicating skills
with the staff and patients did
improve much during my
placement weeks. I also
learned that patience is gold.
S: I am satisfied with my
relationship with the McCall
patients. I learned that, for
many patients, a few minutes
of a nurses time make a huge
difference on their overall
health. I will always keep that
in mind.
S: It is hard to argue with the
ways of older workers, yet I
have been able to make the
point that patients come first. It
has been a learning
experience.

Summary of clinical
Experience
S:
You were always punctual and
appropriately dressed and
ready to administer safe and
professional care.
You had a perfect attendance
in clinical!! Great job!
S:
You did a great job
communicating with the staff,
myself, your peers and your
patients.
Your documentation was
always thorough and relevant.
S:
You were able to successfully
develop several therapeutic
relationships with various
patients. Great job!
S:
You have advocated well on
behalf of your patients.
Always remember that you
dont need to argue with
anyone. Listen to what they
have to say and then do what
is best for your patients.
Remember that with
experience comes a wisdom
that you wont always find in
text books. Remember to
respect that wisdom and be
Collaborative Practice
Quality Assurance
S: I reached my goal
regarding the care plan.
Practicing and having great
insights from my placement
instructor made it possible for
me to no longer experience
difficulties on preparing a care
plan for a patient.
S:
You were able to successfully
create a plan of care for your
patients and then implement
those plans to ensure that
your patient got the proper
safe care that they needed.
S:
I think you worked well
independently and as part of a
team. I do think it is important
for the patients needs to be
met, however I believe that it
is equally important to have a
good working relationship with
your co-workers. In nursing
you need to be able to trust
your co-workers and work as a
team.
S:
You provided great care for
your patients and always self
reflected which is what shows
you your strengths and
weaknesses and what areas
you need to work on.
S:
Your critical thinking will
always be developing,
however I think that you were
able to problem solve and
make quick safe decisions for
your patients as well as
prioritize their care effectively
and time manage
appropriately.
It was wonderful to be able to teach you this semester. I love your enthusiasm for learning new
skills. Keep up the good work study hard, trust your instincts and learn from your elders.
Remember their experience has been hard earned and you can learn a lot from them. Good
