Extension of Probationary Period Letter

The employee's probationary period is being extended by one to three months. Reasons for the extension relate to unsatisfactory conduct or performance during the initial probationary period. The employee is advised that their progress will continue to be monitored and formally reviewed at the end of the extended period. Failure to show sufficient improvement during or by the end of the extended period will likely result in termination of employment.
