Law enforcement in Rincon looking for individuals who 'distract and steal' from elderly

Rincon Police are looking for suspects involved in targeting the elderly.

The Rincon Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying three people who it says are targeting elderly residents in public places.

According to Gena Sullivan, public information officer for the city of Rincon, these individuals have been distracting older residents at ATMs and grocery stores and stealing from them. Sullivan said the police department cannot provide more information because they want to protect the integrity of the case.

Rincon Police are asking residents to warn family members to take extra precautions and be hyper aware of their surroundings when shopping or when using an ATM. For more identifying information on these individuals, see Rincon Police Department social media.
