A new €61 million bypass of the town of Listowel in Co Kerry has opened to traffic.
Construction on the 6km realignment of a section of the N69 began in February 2022 and was undertaken by contractors Wills Brothers.
Consisting of 4km of a new single carriageway, the project also included almost 2.5km of improvements to the existing R533 (John B Keane Road) with pedestrian and cycle facilities.
Kerry County Council said an official opening of the bypass will take place in due course.
