I wish it were that easy. Look guys, I never promised victories. I never said that Marvin Harrison would make an immediate impact. I never said Kyler was going to instantly click in this offense or that the defense would evolve. All I've ever asked for was patience. Patience in a new team. Patience as our players develop. Look for the small victories, improvements in one week to the next. Rejoice in the fact that the cardinals are playing competitive football for the first time in nearly a decade. As a life long member and fan of the crew, I can honestly say its never been easy.

With all that being said, let us take a second to reflect on the season. We can all agree that Budda is back making his presence felt on every single play. Once we get Darius Robinson back from IR, we will finally have an all pro caliber defensive linemen to help take us to the next level. Trey Mcbride is quietly proving himself and once the TDs start, he will be amongst the best in the NFL. And c'mon mane, Kyler is playing like the best QB in the league no debate necessary. He is the MVP of this league and is the most important part of the cardinals organization. Another c'mon mane is owed to Marvin Harrison. Him and Kyler are finally playing on the level we expected and as the season goes on, I look forward to the evolution. Kyler is showing the world wrong about their one critique and that is his leadership. He takes accountability after every failed play and never shows emotion on the field. He is never frustrated when the rookie runs a wrong route or when his line gives up pressure. He simply gets on his feet and calls in the next play. This team has been full of surprise and is something to be excited about. JG got that dog in him and he is grooming his team to play with ferocity and vigor looking for valor every time they take the field.

I maybe an old hopeless romantic building storylines in my head only to be disappointed by the end of the season. And I've promised myself to take things as they come. Don't get too excited. But c'mon mane this team is making it look easy. So maybe, just maybe this ends down south in the Big Easy.
