Petersburg roadwork alert: Nov 15 paving work will temporarily close Goodrich Ave.

On Friday, November 15, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will have a contractor milling and paving a half-mile or so stretch of S. Sycamore St. in Petersburg, from South Blvd. to S. Crater Rd.

They will close Goodrich Ave. during the work.

The work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., although weather may affect the schedule.

Pavement markings will later be installed on November 21.
