Sign of the Season

A light dusting of snow blows across the thin ice on Spring Creek just south of Artas earlier this week. Mother Nature brought a taste of winter to the region after weeks of unseasonably warm temperatures. After several days of single-digit lows and strong northwest winds bringing stinging wind chills, temperatures are warming up with highs in the low to mid-40s expected throughout the weekend and early next week.
