What to expect in Fortnitmares 2024
Fortnitemare events historically include skins, weapons, modified POIs, and even new mechanics. Most of that hasn’t been confirmed for the 2024 event, but some skins are already available or were confirmed via the announcement trailer.
- Shadow Monks, a dark-themed reskin of the sock monkey skin is already available.
- The Saw franchise’s Billy the Puppet is also available now along with the Perilous Puppet Bundle that includes back bling, a pickaxe, and emote.
From the trailer, we can also see:
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Leatherface
- Marvel’s Mephisto (which fits this season’s Marvel theme)
- An as-of-yet-unnamed witch
Other skins have been rumored or leaked like some Disney villains or other spooky Marvel characters. None of the updated POIs or new game mechanics have been confirmed yet.
Update (Oct. 10): Epic has officially teased skins for Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas along with an unnamed scarecrow that will be available in the shop along with Fortnitemares on Oct. 11. In the background, you can also see a pumpkin patch-themed POI.
