Even with Netflix’s recommendation algorithm serving you new movies, new TV shows, and original programming tailored to your viewing habits, the streaming service’s fire hose of content makes what’s coming difficult to parse.

The Netflix back catalogue is delivering this month — there’s the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy; Love Actually, in case you’re still in the Christmas movie spirit; Interstellar and Inception for a Nolan double-feature; the live-action Scooby-Doo movies, which you can pair with I Know What You Did Last Summer to really appreciate; the Rush Hour movies, the Meet the Parents movies, and so much more.

Oh, and when it comes to Netflix originals, we have a new Philomena Cunk on the way, a second season of the absolutely unhinged XO, Kitty, and a new Wallace and Gromit!

Editor’s Pick: 13 Going on 30

Director: Gary Winick
Cast: Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer, Andy Serkis

13 Going on 30 is one of the best romantic comedies of the 2000s. Jenna Rink, an uncool 13 year-old, makes a wish to be “30, flirty, and thriving.” And she wakes up in the body of her 30 year-old self, who’s a super stylish and cool editor at a fashion magazine, and also besties with the mean girl from junior high. But even though this new life is glamorous, Jenna soon realizes that to get to this version of herself, she’s made a lot of terrible decisions — including cutting off her best friend Matt (Mark Ruffalo). It’s a sweet romance, a poignant coming-of-age story, and just an all around delightful movie.
