Matthew Reynolds is a writer and editor based in the U.K., specializing in guides and service coverage. He joined Polygon in 2023, and before then, worked at Eurogamer, where he produced guides for some of the world’s most popular games — including Pokémon Go, Fortnite, Destiny 2, Elden Ring, Animal Crossing, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Between 2008 and 2015, Matthew was gaming editor at Digital Spy, achieving multiple awards and honors, including several Games Media Awards and being named one of the top 25 most influential journalists in the U.K. games media (MCV, 2014).
