LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Two men died from accidental electrocution in Bolinao town and San Carlos City over the weekend.

In a report, the Bolinao town police said a 47-year-old truck driver was operating a crane to unload long pipes for a drilling project in Barangay Luna when the boom hit an electric line, electrocuting him.

The driver was rushed to the Bolinao Community Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

In San Carlos City, police said a welder, whose identity was withheld, was doing alignment works on a motorcycle sidecar at a shop in Barangay Tandoc.

The welder allegedly touched a live wire by accident, causing his electrocution.
